Graphic Design Asset
One finished design, a banner, infographic or social post, briefed, concepted and delivered in web-ready formats, priced individually so you order only what you need.
One asset, briefed and delivered in web-ready formats
An asset is one finished piece of artwork: a website banner, infographic, social post, ad creative, slide graphic or email header. It is priced individually so you can order the specific pieces you need without committing to a design retainer for occasional work.
The process is short by design. You provide the brief, copy, dimensions and any brand assets you have. We develop one or two concept directions, you select the direction to develop, and we refine it through one round of revisions before delivering the finished files.
Delivery is in practical web-ready formats: PNG or JPG at appropriate sizes for digital use, and SVG where the artwork is vector-based and needs to remain sharp at different sizes. If you have an existing brand kit, we work within it. If you do not, we use the colours, fonts and spacing already established on your website or other supplied references so the asset feels like part of the same system.
Where this fits
This service works best for a specific, immediate use, a particular campaign, page, email or social post, rather than as an attempt to establish a complete visual identity through one piece of artwork.
It is also useful for testing a creative direction before committing to a larger campaign. One asset gives you a relatively low-cost way to see whether a concept works before producing an entire set around it.
Who it’s for
You need a banner this week and an infographic next month, without enough ongoing design work to justify a full-time designer or retainer.
A blog post, report or presentation that would communicate better with a clear diagram, graphic or infographic than with another generic stock image.
You need the same creative adapted for several placements and want the variants produced as a coordinated set.

Reading the output
Review the asset in its actual placement, not only as a standalone file. A design that looks strong on a large desktop screen can behave very differently when placed beside your existing website content or reduced to a social-media thumbnail.
Check it at the actual size at which most people will encounter it. Text that looks perfectly readable in the design file can become too small once the asset is displayed in its intended placement.
What buyers get wrong
The first common mistake is briefing the destination rather than the goal. “A banner for the homepage” explains where the design will appear, but not what the visitor should understand or do when they see it. The latter produces a much more useful brief.
The second is treating revisions as an opportunity to test an entirely different creative direction. Revisions work best for refining an agreed concept. A fundamental change of direction is effectively a new brief and may require a separate quote.
Before you start
Find one existing example that is close to what you want, even if it is not perfect. A visual reference usually removes more ambiguity from a brief than several paragraphs of description.
It also helps to identify what the design must avoid, particular colours, styles, visual conventions or similarities to competitors. Negative direction can be just as useful as positive direction when narrowing a creative approach.
Why HL Digital
One or two directions give you a genuine choice of creative route before the final asset is developed.
A 48 to 72 hour turnaround makes the service suitable for individual campaign and content requirements without committing to a longer design engagement.
We work from your brand kit or existing visual language so a new asset does not look disconnected from the rest of your website or campaign.
Web-ready exports are supplied in practical formats rather than locking you into a proprietary delivery format.
Limitations
A single asset is only as effective as the brief behind it. Vague direction can produce a technically competent but generic result regardless of the design skill applied.
The design also cannot compensate indefinitely for weak underlying copy. If the words the asset needs to communicate are unclear or unconvincing, visual treatment alone cannot solve the underlying messaging problem.
This service is for individual design assets, not a complete brand identity or visual system.
